The Philharmonic celebrates Dia de los Muertos with Pixar’s instant-classic Coco, the story of Miguel, who discovers his own strength, his own music, and the power of a family’s love. The Philharmonic performs live with the entire film shown above the stage.

Composer Sarah Perske & Russ Callison will be performing and speaking at the Univeristy of Colorado Colorado Springs on Sarah's new composition, 'Ascending Purgatario,' based on Dante's 'Purgatario.' This is the premiere performance of the piece, and is a 'New World for Tomorrow' commission. 

Russ will be performing the premiere of 'The Immigrant's Song,' written by Katerina Therianos for Electric Guitar and Electronics. This piece is part of the 'New World for Tomorrow' commissioning project begun by Russ in 2017.

Join Solazur, Denver's brand new guitar-cello duo, for the first of their set of debut recitals. Formed in 2016 out of a shared desire to offer captivating and intimate performances of cello and guitar music, Solazur will present three full works composed in the last century: Dusan Bogdanovic's 'Quatre pièces intimes,' Radamés Gnattalli's 'Sonata for Cello & Guitar, and the world premiere of 'Azur' by Tomás Peire Serrate.

Hello everyone! Come out for my first recital of 2016.

For those who know, Calum Borthwick, half of my duo Derelict Hands, had to head back home to Scotland. This summer I'll be traveling over there so we can record several premieres as well as perform. I'm asking that anyone who comes to the recital consider donating for travel and recording expenses! We will be setting up preorders and a funding page very shortly, so we'll also have incentives available to those who are able to help us out.
